University of Wisconsin - Madison - Slainte Irish Dancers

Slainte Irish Dancers is a student organization dedicated to creating opportunities for college Irish dancers to continue their love of competing, performing, and practicing while at UW-Madison. We are College Irish Dance Association (CIDA) National Champions in the video competition category and have won the College Ceili Championship at the Mid-American Oireachtas. We work to ensure all collegiate dancers are able to continue competing at the highest level, regardless of competitive history.  Previous dance experience with a registered CLRG school is recommended but not required, and we do not host tryouts. Practices are held Sunday evenings from 8-9 pm, with additional hours added during competition seasons. Check out our social media or WIN pages to learn more about our team!
