Mullane Godley Academy

For nearly four decades, the Mullane Godley Academy of Irish Dance has taught generations of dancers in the Chicago area the art and tradition of Irish Dance. With approximately 175 dancers, the Academy combines the resources and experience of one of North America's premier Irish Dance schools with personalized instruction and individual attention for every student.

Mullane Godley takes a team approach to teaching, with dancers benefiting from the combined experience and talent of a dedicated teaching staff of eight. Among the Academy's teachers are three former World Irish Dance Champions, bringing an extraordinary level of experience to dancers at every stage of their Irish Dance journey.

The Academy welcomes dancers of all levels and goals, from those who simply want to enjoy Irish Dance recreationally to competitors training for the highest levels of the sport. Mullane Godley's teaching staff has coached and choreographed numerous Regional, National, and World Champion solo dancers and teams. The Academy has also produced both a men's and ladies' World Champion.

At Mullane Godley, every dancer—whether Beginner, Recreational, or Competitive—is considered an important part of Team MG and receives the same dedicated, enthusiastic instruction. The result is a hardworking yet fun and supportive atmosphere where dancers can develop their skills, confidence, friendships, and love of Irish Dance.

Classes are held at the Academy's studio serving the Edison Park/Niles area of Chicago, Illinois.
