The Finnegan Academy is an established Dance School offering Irish Dance classes throughout Florida with in excess of 100 students, including 2020 World Qualifiers. The Finnegan Academy are proudly affiliated with CLRG. About the Academy:   The Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance was founded in 2016 when Amanda Finnegan, TCRG moved to Orlando from Galway, Ireland. Amanda's goal in setting up her Irish Dance Academy was to share her Irish culture and love of Irish Dance with students and families throughout Orlando .The Academy offers Irish Dance Instruction for ages 3-adult and caters for students who are interested in both competitive and show Irish Dance. The Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance is proudly affiliated with CLRG- An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha, allowing students the opportunity, if desired, to compete at Irish dance competitions both nationally and internationally. At the Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance, we aspire to ignite a love of Irish Culture through the art of Irish Dance. We see every student as an individual shining star, to be encouraged and celebrated! Our academy prides itself on tailoring instruction to compliment each individual students dancing style, thus equipping each dancer with a world class skill set to reach their personal Irish Dance Goals! The Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance believe in quality instruction, and therefore, offer separate, skill specific classes to our Tiny Tot (ages 3&4), Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced level dancers.   The Finnegan Academy are thrilled to offer many wonderful studio locations throughout Orlando as well as various After School Programs. Due to popular demand, we also offer HOMESCHOOL IRISH DANCE CLASSES in the Windermere/Winter Garden area.   An Muinteoir (Meet the Director) - Amanda Finnegan (TCRG)   Amanda Finnegan (T.C.R.G) is the owner and director of the Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance. Amanda was born and raised in Galway (West Ireland). Her love of Irish dance began at the early age of four. Having competed successfully at national and international levels, Amanda redirected her focus towards building her reputation as an Irish Step Dance choreographer and instructor. Amanda has choreographed Irish Dance showcases internationally, bringing the Rhythm of Ireland to a multitude of countries around the globe and has danced professionally in various shows including the infamous Raglan Road in Orlando!
