Brady Academy of Irish Dance - Canada

Brady Academy of Irish Dance Canada has been providing Irish Dance instruction across Western Canada since 1983. The academy welcomes dancers from beginner through championship level, offering opportunities to learn traditional reels, jigs and set dances while developing confidence, discipline and a love of Irish Dance.

Dancers have opportunities to perform at community events and compete at local, regional, national and international levels. Over the years, Brady Academy dancers have achieved success at the Western Canadian, North American and World Championships in both solo and céilí dancing.

The academy is directed by experienced, qualified Irish Dance teachers Gloria Brady, TCRG; Philip Brady, TCRG; and John Brady, TCRG. Philip Brady, who leads the Winnipeg program, is a former champion dancer and professional performer who toured internationally with Lord of the Dance. John Brady leads the academy's Calgary program.

Classes are offered in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, with instruction available for dancers at a variety of ages and levels.
