This design is especially important to me because it represents so much more than just some bling that enhances the look of my performance. I started Irish Dance in 2018 at the McGrath Morgan Academy of Irish Dance, and have been lucky enough to have moved to Japan, where I continued the art with the Ardagh School taught by Tomoko Shirasawa. I remind myself every day that no trophy could ever amount to the experience of Irish dancing in such a foreign place. After all, Irish dance is one of those things that no matter where you're from, you'll want to get up and dance after watching a jig! This dress is perfect to showcase how Irish dance brings people together from all across the world. Now at the Kanaley School in New England, I hope to bring diversity to the dance floor and show off a truly one-of-a-kind dress.
