Story of Your Design
My dress represents the support my (Irish) Mum has for me through my dance journey. The Celtic design on the front is known as the 'Mother and Daughter knot'. The Celtic spirals are used in much traditional Irish art and the symbol on the sash is of the Trinity - this can stand for many trios of things eg. Past, present, future; God, Holy Spirit, Jesus and in this case, Mum, Dad and Aoife! I couldn't succeed in my dancing without their support - driving me to lessons and feisanna!!!
