I wouldn't hide it from them, rather ease them into the relationship. Drop a few hints, mention his name, etc. My mom is really strict as well but if she knew I was happy and my boyfriend was a good guy I think she would be o.k. with it.

idk... knowing me i would actually chicken out telling my parents, because they wouldnt like me having a BF until high school (but im only 12 so...). one this u can do is ask a rhetorical question to maybe ur mom ('cause she's a girl and she'd understand) and ask, "hey mom, what would u say if i ever had another boyfriend? would it make u mad?" or something like that. if u dont think that will work then, well, keep it to yourself until u can tell ur mom the truth at the right moment because it's probably the right thing to do. maybe dont tell ur dad first because this is more of a girl thing!
