I think it's more of a mental thing, but if it works go for it. I have plenty of my own crazy ideas that seem to work for me (Like getting an even competition number or eating mac and cheese the night before!) =)

I've tried it once, and my arms were straight. But my arms are always straight when I dance so I don't really know if it works

wow: ill try that at my feis this weekend! maybe because when your wearing a tank top, you may get cold so your arms will stay down to keep you warm and then they get used to that?? idk im just thinking....;]

i am getting really sick of stupid roumers!! plus there is absoultly no way that it could work because straps let your arms fly everywhere! it would make more sence to go to bed in a strighjacket to keeps your arms iscolated. Probally the only reason it is working for you is because you think it will. in that case more power to ya!!!!!!!

One thing worked for me- duct tape! I haven't had any problems since.
