Angry Tar balls and oil globs on my beach

We live near the beach and the Deepwater oil is now starting to come ashore. It's such a HUGE mess.

Aww, thats a shame! I hate it when something like that comes and ruins God's beautiful beaches! (Not that it has ever happened around here but I can imagine that it would make a terrible mess!)

Unhappy Tar Balls and oil globs on the beach

It makes me so mad and sad. There are birds and fishes dying. The marshes that are the breeding grounds for most of our seafood industry are getting hit and dying. This huge miles wide mat of inches of thick oil is floating 35 miles away from our sugar white beaches. It could take 10 years to clean it up. We are just entering hurricane season. What are they going to do if a hurricane enters the Gulf and all the boats and ships that are collecting the oil have to leave? What will they do about the cap connected to a ship if it has to leave? (let it start dumping into the gulf again?) It is stressing my parents out. I hope they figure out a solution soon!

When I first heard about the oil spill I was completely shocked that it turned out to be this bad! Fortuantly, I don't live by a beach because when I see the oil coming into the water it makes me a little depressed. It's a shame that people let this happen! I hope they put an end to all of this soon

My heart breaks when I think of those poor animals and birds suffocating in the oil, and dying of hunger because they cannot move to find food. Just horrible. Us humans are really not doing a good job of looking after the earth and its beautiful creatures.

It's so terrible. I hate what it's doing to all of the wildlife and the people who live there My question is why aren't the BP execs down cleaning up the beaches with all of the volunteers?
